Spirit Fitness SBC800 Indoor Bike (Electro Magnetic Resistance)

Spirit Fitness SBC800 Indoor Bike (Electro Magnetic Resistance)

The Spirit Fitness SBC800 Indoor Bike (Electro Magnetic Resistance) is a console-free studio cycle built on a rigid one-piece steel frame, with a 16.8 Kg front flywheel and magnetic resistance you dial in by feel. It suits commercial gyms, cycling studios, hotel fitness rooms and serious home riders who want a road-bike style ride without screens or cables.

Resistance You Set By Feel

There are no numbered levels on the SBC800. The resistance knob turns through a continuous 360° range, so riders can make very small changes until the magnets reach full load. Because the magnets never touch the flywheel, the effort stays even and there are no friction pads to wear out.

Flywheel And Belt Drivetrain

A 16.8 Kg evenly weighted flywheel sits at the front and carries momentum through each pedal stroke. It is driven by a high-tension Poly-V belt with a 1:4 gear ratio, which gives a smooth, direct feel for steady endurance work as well as short, hard intervals.

Built For Busy Studios

The one-piece steel frame keeps flex to a minimum when riders stand and sprint. Heavy-duty 170 mm forged steel cranks and a 170 mm Q-factor keep the pedalling position close to a road bike, and the machine is rated for users up to 165 Kg.

Rider Fit And Contact Points

• Saddle adjusts fully fore and aft to match leg length and riding posture
• Multi-grip handlebar adjusts and offers several hand positions for seated and standing work
• Pedals take SPD cycling shoes on one side and ordinary trainers in the toe cage on the other
• Two-angle stretch positioning gives a place to stretch before or after the ride

Cardio Plus Upper-Body Work

A holder mounted behind the saddle keeps two light dumbbells secure and within reach, so instructors can add arm sets to a class without anyone leaving the bike.
