The Spirit Fitness CSC980 is a heavy-duty commercial stair climber designed to replicate the movement and intensity of climbing stairs while providing users with a stable and controlled training platform.

Its EMS drive system and commercial-grade chain are designed to provide smooth, consistent movement during demanding workouts. The machine offers 20 resistance levels and a step rate ranging from approximately 20 to 157 steps per minute, allowing users to adjust training intensity from controlled conditioning sessions through to high-intensity cardio workouts.

The CSC980 features generously sized 28 cm deep × 47 cm wide steps, providing a secure and comfortable platform for different foot sizes. Reinforced step rods and bearings are designed to support long-term performance under intensive use.

Safety is an important part of the machine’s design. A 21 cm side step provides easier access for mounting and dismounting, while an integrated safety sensor can activate the mechanical braking system if an unsafe situation such as a fall is detected.

The CSC980 also includes a large multi-window LED console with a selection of training programs, including WFI and CPAT fitness tests, Fat Burning, Rolling Hills, Challenge, Interval, Target and User programs. Heart-rate monitoring is supported through contact sensors and compatible telemetry.
