Ergonomics The R5i Recumbent Bike features a molded foam seat with a flexible, ventilated back and armrest that is reminiscent of an office chair. Ideal if you suffer from low back pain, the adjustable backrest can be tilted for proper lumbar support. The seat can be placed anywhere within a range of 36cm. lifespan Quiet and durable drive system The R5i offers a smooth, quiet and silent pedaling – even if you are at the finish a tough hill or interval program. The 16 levels of resistance will give you the coverage you want, maximum power of 350 watts. Quality components such as bearings, pulleys, and flywheel provide years of training fun. lifespan Exercise programs for every ambition Suitable for all levels of fitness, the R5i includes a variety of easy to follow exercise programs to help you with your health and fitness goals. These programs are divided into two Heart Rate Control programs, 2 user programs, and 17 standard preset programs (5 weight loss, healthy living 5, and 7 sports training). The R5i is not electronically powered so it doesn’t have to be connected to a power outlet. You generate electricity by pedaling. The heart rate measurement is possible with the internal pulse sensors in the handles and the free included chest strap (worth € 29.95). To keep track of your progress, you can sync the workout data via Bluetooth to your LifeSpan Club account. Active Trac Bluetooth connectivity with your Android device collects and syncs your data directly to your Club account, seamlessly capturing all of your activity. Manual entry of fitness information keeps you updated while on the go, and social features let you share your successes.
