Spirit Fitness SBC900 Indoor Bike with Console and Coaching Light

Spirit Fitness SBC900 Indoor Bike with Console and Coaching Light

The Spirit Fitness SBC900 Indoor Bike with Console and Coaching Light adds on-bike feedback to a commercial one-piece steel frame: a 5.5” display, a five-colour intensity light and 30 numbered resistance levels. It is aimed at cycling studios, commercial gyms, fitness clubs and hotel gyms where riders and instructors want to see effort as well as feel it.

Coaching Light That Shows Effort

The Spirit Intensity LED system uses five colours to show how hard a rider is working, based on heart rate, RPM or watts. An instructor can read the whole room at a glance, and each rider can see when they drift out of the target zone.

Console And Programs

The 5.5” display keeps the main workout numbers in view and runs four programs:

• FTP Test
• FTP Training
• Heart Rate Training
• Quick Start

30 Resistance Levels On A 16.8 Kg Flywheel

Resistance is electromagnetic and set in 30 steps from the adjustment knob, which makes it easy to repeat the same load from one class to the next. The 16.8 Kg front flywheel is turned by a Poly-V belt with a 1:4 gear ratio for a smooth, consistent pedal stroke.

Self-Powered With Wireless Links

A built-in generator powers the console from the rider’s pedalling, so bikes can be placed anywhere in the studio without floor sockets. ANT+ and Bluetooth heart rate sensors are supported, and Wi-Fi is built in for connected training and equipment management.

Frame, Fit And Extras

• One-piece steel frame rated for users up to 165 Kg
• 170 mm forged steel cranks with a 170 mm Q-factor
• Racing style adjustable seat and multi-position adjustable handlebar
• Pedals with SPD on one side and a toe cage on the other
• Dumbbell holder behind the saddle for light upper-body sets
• Two-angle stretch positioning for warm-ups and cool-downs

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the SBC900 different from a bike without a console?
It adds a 5.5” display with four programs, a five-colour intensity light and 30 numbered resistance levels.

Does the SBC900 need to be plugged in?
No. It uses a self-generating system, so the console runs from pedalling and the bike can go anywhere on the floor.

What does the coaching light respond to?
The LED colours change according to heart rate, RPM or watts, depending on how the ride is set up.

Which heart rate monitors can I pair?
The bike accepts ANT+ and Bluetooth heart rate devices.

Can riders use normal gym shoes?
Yes. Each pedal has a toe cage on one side for athletic shoes and an SPD fitting on the other for cycling shoes.
